How will this workshop go about its thing?
The writing group will essentially take place in a workshop structure, led by editor and writer Geraldine Stallard.
Focusing on each individual’s writing, each workshop will commence with a mini-masterclass on various elements in creative writing, followed by writing prompts and exercises, and workshopping of participants’ writing. This series of creative writing workshops aims to culminate in a final short story piece by each individual, which will receive final developmental edits and/or feedback by Geraldine. Participants will be supplied with workshop notes, and final writing pieces may be considered for publication in The Eloquent Orifice.
Do I need to have writing experience to join this?
The answer is a big, resounding… Of course not! As long as you’re interested in writing and are keen to learn more about how to write creatively, you’ll find this workshop helpful. Writing creatively can benefit anyone and everyone—even in the world of writing business copy!
